Project Overview

Mayor Gorden and City Council requested that a traffic study and an economic impact study of the project be performed. General Growth Properties commissioned studies by two independent, third party entities. These studies can be accessed below
General Growth Properties, owners of Beachwood Place, has submitted plans for an expansion of the center.

The planned addition of approximately 77,000 square feet of retail space will be located between Saks Fifth Avenue and Nordstrom, wrapping the current mall exterior.

Approximately 27,000 square feet will be in three freestanding, one-level restaurants.

The following items pertaining to the Beachwood Place Mall Project will be considered by City Council at the November 18, 2013 meeting.
