Beachwood Boredom-Busters for July 17, 2019

Posted on July 18, 2019 at 1:19 PM by Mayor Martin S. Horwitz

City of Beachwood Boredom-Busters logo Boredom gray Busters colorfulI've taken an unscientific poll to determine that Wednesdays are the best days to publish the weekly Boredom-Busters: here we are! Please note that the forecasted heat index for Friday through Saturday is dangerously high. Please keep a jug of water in your fridge, check on your elderly neighbors, and if you see your letter carrier, offer them a cold drink. Be certain not to leave children, seniors, or pets in your car for any amount of time during the heatwave -- the National Weather Service says that vehicle interiors can reach lethal temperatures within mere minutes.

Heatwave notwithstanding, there are a number of terrific events in our City this week....
