Beachwood Boredom-Busters: September 11, 2019

Posted on September 11, 2019 at 3:14 PM by Mayor Martin S. Horwitz

Logo that says City of Beachwood Boredom-Busters, with Boredom in gray and Busters in colorful textI am so excited about the City of Beachwood events coming up this month and next. Be sure to bring the kids to this Sunday’s 20th Annual Honkin’ Haulin’ Hands-on Trucks at our Public Works Garage, 23355 Mercantile Rd. Beachwood. We’ll feature many vehicles including a medevac helicopter. There will be driver licenses, games and activities for children. This is a wonderful opportunity for families to learn about the role that vehicles play in the City of Beachwood and to take adorable photos of your kid(s) having a blast.

I know you all join me in remembering the fallen heroes of 9/11. We are grateful to have a piece of 9/11 steel in a memorial that is located within our Public Safety Center and was arranged for by the late Richard Barson, a Beachwood resident. Please, take a moment today to give thanks to those who keep our community safe.
