Beachwood Boredom-Busters: 9/26/2019

THURSDAY, 9/26

Leonard Bernstein: The Power of Music, the first large-scale museum exhibition to illustrate the famed conductor and composer’s life, Jewish identity, and social activism, is on view at the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage from September 25 to March 1, 2020. Created by the National Museum of American Jewish History (NMAJH) in Philadelphia to coincide with the maestro’s 100th birthday, the exhibition features approximately 100 historic artifacts and photographs— from Bernstein’s piano and conducting suit to family heirlooms—along with original films and immersive sound installations. Admission is only $5 through September 29: purchase discounted tickets online!

Saturday, October 5, 2:00 - 4:00 PM: Register now for a skincare master class presented by Lucent Dermatology Doctors Alexandra Zhang and William L. Camp at the first floor Beauty Department of Saks Fifth Avenue Beachwood Place. The master class is the capstone to Saks’ Fall Beauty Week taking place from September 26 through October 6. Drs.
