Beachwood Boredom-Busters: Thanksgiving Edition 11/27/2019

WEDNESDAY, November 27
City Offices will close at noon today for the Thanksgiving holiday and shall re-open on Monday, December 2. If your typical Beachwood rubbish & recycling collection day is Thursday, be sure to have your bins to the tree lawn by 7:30 AM on Wednesday, November 27 for a special early collection.

2:00 – 5:00 PM: Visit Pottery Barn Kids (2101 Richmond Rd.) and have a hand-cut silhouette created by artist Chris Casey! Sign up online. 

4:00 PM – 11:00PM: It’s a BOMBA Friendsgiving! Catch up with your buddies while enjoying $3 Market Garden Brewery Prosperity Wheat Beers and $5 Western Reserve Cocktails. 2101 Richmond Rd.

10:00 AM: Styles of Imagination Boutique (24331 Chagrin Blvd.) will take 60-percent off the price of everything in the clearance section between 10:00 – 11:00 AM today. The boutique will also host bake sales throughout the weekend to support young up-and-coming future bakers!

10:00 AM: Nothing like curling up with a good eBook, movie, music and more over the holidays! Bring your device and passwords to the Beachwood Branch (25501 Shaker Blvd) of the Cuyahoga County Public Library and their staff will get you started. The Digital Collection is available 24/7 365 days a year and there are never any late fees!
 
TUESDAY, December 3
11:00 AM – 9:00 PM: Support the Beachwood Band Boosters by dining at Choolaah (27100 Chagrin Blvd.) today! 2:00 – 3:00 PM: Learn about the latest research providing insights into how to make lifestyle choices that may help you keep your brain and body healthy as you age. Register now for this event at the Beachwood Branch (25501 Shaker Blvd) of the Cuyahoga County Public Library. A representative from the Alzheimer’s Association will share research in the areas of diet and nutrition, exercise, cognitive activity and social engagement, and use hands-on tools to help you incorporate these recommendations into a plan for healthy aging.
