2023 Board Appointments
Council is being asked to confirm the re-appointment of Paul Kowalczyk and Ronald Kluchin as Alternate Members of the Architectural Review Board to a three-year term ending December 31, 2025.
The purpose of the Architectural Review Board is to preserve and protect the public health, safety and welfare by maintaining the high character of community development and protecting the real estate and its value in the City from impairment or reduction of value by regulating, according to architectural principles, the design, use of materials, finished grade lines and orientation of all new buildings, and by assuring that the appearance and aesthetics of building exteriors reasonably conform to City standards found in the area of the proposed building or addition to an existing building.
Community Services/Recreation Department
The Administration has recommended an upgrade to the Audio-Visual equipment located in the City of Beachwood Community Center. This upgrade will help improve existing and future programming offered by the Community Services/Recreation Department.
Three Bids were received and we are recommending Summit Sound & Security Ltd. in a total amount not to exceed $69,092.96.

City Council is asked to approve the proposed Regular Council Meeting dates for 2023. Some of the dates have changed from our normal meeting schedule of the first and third Monday’s of the month to accommodate various holidays throughout the year. The first changes will occur in January of 2023.
Planning and Zoning Commission
The Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended City Council accept the Preliminary and Final Site Plan that has been proposed for additions at the Mandel Jewish Day School.
