The Beachwood Historical Society and City of Beachwood are collaborating to celebrate their Hometown Heroes once again in 2023. The annual program celebrates up to a dozen of the city’s most impactful residents and working professionals. Hometown Heroes are selected through a nomination process that is currently available at BeachwoodOhio.com/HeroNominations through Friday, April 7.
A successful nominee actively displays the following criteria in their everyday life:
- Must be a Beachwood resident or individual who works in the city
- Makes a positive impact on the City of Beachwood
- Helps improve the city and society
- Shows dedication to helping others
- Displays courage, care and concern
- Contributions and accomplishments have enhanced Beachwood
Heroes will be celebrated with a special ceremony at the Hometown Heroes garden display in Beachwood’s City Park West on Shaker Boulevard. The ceremony is Wednesday, May 10. For more information, call Beachwood Community Services at 216-292-1970.
