Gas Pipeline ConstructionDominion East Ohio Gas will be replacing gas distribution lines in the City of Beachwood beginning next week. Streets affected include: Fairmount (east of Richmond), Hendon (Fairmount to Selkirk), Sulgrave (Shaker east bound to South Woodland), Duffield, Wimbledon, Hazelmere, South Woodland (Sulgrave to just short of Richmond).
All disturbed areas such as curbs, streets, drive aprons, tree lawns and trees will be replace at no cost to the City or the resident. Trees will be replaced in spring of 2018. Traffic will be maintained, please expect some delays.

Beachwood Family Aquatic Center Passes on Sale Now; New Discounts for SeniorsThe Beachwood Family Aquatic Center will open for Memorial Day Weekend, May 27-29. The full season runs daily June 3 through August 15, and weekends through September 4.
Memberships are on sale at City Hall Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Beat the rush and get your passes early. Please bring proof of residency.
NEW! Seniors will receive a 50% discount on memberships, or a rate of just $25 a season. If you are applying for a senior membership, please bring documentation showing you are at least 60 years of age.

Hazardous Household Waste Round-Up and Shred Day – Free Services for Residents this MonthHazardous Household Waste Round-Up will be held Monday, May 15, through Saturday, May 20. Residents are encouraged to safely dispose of old oil-based paint, pesticides, driveway sealant and other hazardous household materials. Please bring your items, along with proof of residency, to the Beachwood Service Department between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Shred Day will be held on Sunday, May 21, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Beachwood Community Center Parking Lot. Residents are invited to bring old personal documents, mail and files to be securely shredded and recycled. Please bring proof of residency. Limit of 12 blue bags or 6 bankers boxes per household.
