Farewell Council Meeting

Please join us on Monday, December 18 at 7pm as we say farewell to Councilman Melvin Jacobs and Mayor Merle S. Gorden.
After a brief council meeting, the public will have an opportunity to be a part of this historic event.  A light reception will follow.


Old or broken holiday lights?
We'll take 'em!

The City of Beachwood will gladly take your old, broken, burned out strings of lights, power cords and strips for recycling. Simply drop them off at the Service Department, 23355 Mercantile Road, Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. through January 15. Thank you for helping us keep the community greener and cleaner!

Day Camps

Calling all campers!
Beachwood Summer Day Camp registration now open

There may be snow, but summer camp registration is now open for Beachwood residents. Take advantage of early-bird rates and register for Kidz, Bison, Sports, Teen Travel and Theater Camp between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at Beachwood City Hall. Proof of residency required.

City Hall closed on Christmas, New Year's Day;
Rubbish pick-up delayed one day

Beachwood City Hall will be closed Monday, December 25 and Monday, January 1 for Christmas and New Year’s Day. Rubbish collections will be delayed one day, with pick-up the day after each respective holiday.

Last weekend to catch Beachwood Recreation Community Theater's "Annie"

Community members are raving about Beachwood Recreation Community Theater’s performance of “Annie”.  This weekend is your last chance to catch this wonderful show at one of the following dates/times:
Friday, December 15 - 7:30 p.m.
Saturday, December 16 - 4 p.m.
Sunday, December 17 - 2 p.m.
All performances take place at Beachwood Middle School Auditorium. Tickets are available at the door 30 minutes prior to curtain—$8 for students and seniors, $9 for adults. Questions? Call 216.292.1970 for more information.
