Your 2018 budget is in full swing, but does it factor in energy costs, facility maintenance and long-term investments to improve the efficiency of your building?
Although you think it’s not in your top 10 of priorities right now, energy management should be part of the budget and strategy.
Making smart investments in your building can help you find hidden profits.
To help you make that smart investment, please join us for a breakfast discussion to integrate an energy management strategy. We’ll share how to start with an energy audit of your building that can typically identify potential energy savings of 20-30% per building.
Our friends at the Greater Cleveland Partnership/COSE will be joining us to share how they have teamed with FirstEnergy Ohio Utilities to provide Beachwood businesses (FirstEnergy only customers, and buildings 10,000 – 150,000 square feet) an exclusive energy audit of your building opportunity. The cost of this assessment is paid for by FirstEnergy so there’s no out of pocket expense to you.
They’ll also walk us through how to take advantage of the FirstEnergy rebates and PJM rebates (CPP customers are eligible) access an interest rate reduction through KeyBank financing and Greenworks Lending’s C-PACE Financing.
C-PACE financing is an unparalleled tool for commercial real estate owners to make energy efficiency improvements without using capital but increasing cash flow. Greenworks Lending is the nation’s largest C-PACE lender and in February 2018 opened its Ohio office in Columbus. As the only C-PACE lender to have completed a C-PACE securitization Greenworks has access to cheap C-PACE capital, which results in the competitive interest rates. Through these competitive rates and its focus on knowledgeable, responsive service, Greenworks has become an industry leader. Greenworks is committed to providing C-PACE financing to help improve as many buildings as possible and is committed to advancing that mission here in Ohio.
To name a few Beachwood businesses and organizations who have conducted audits:
Bright Ideas Press, UH - Chagrin Highlands, AJ Spa Millennium, City of Cleveland - Correction Storeroom, Dealer's Food Product, Gunderson Building, Luscious Verde, Mitchell's Ice Cream, Northwest Hardwoods, Paradise Flower Market and US Brands.
A well-designed upgrade can provide your business a positive cash flow from energy savings while paying off the capital investment for new equipment.
