Department Overview

The mission of Beachwood Community Services is to improve the quality of life of all residents by providing a wide variety of cultural and leisure activities, special events, facilities and services encouraging health, fitness, relaxation, enjoyment, cultural enrichment, and learning as well as providing opportunities for community involvement. The Community Services Department is composed of both the Human Services and Recreation Departments.

February Freeze

Sunday, February 26th, 6-7:30 PM, Beachwood City Hall
Ignite your passion for winter as we light up the sky at Beachwood's 2nd Annual February Freeze, an outdoor family festival. Experience the Rockin' Robots, ice sculptures, unique family activities, fireworks and more! The cost of admission? Simply bring canned goods or non-perishables benefiting Harvest for Hunger. February Freeze is open to all! Fireworks presented by Crestmont.

NEW: Overnight Trips

Pack your bags and unleash your sense of adventure! Overnight trips are back! Our first two trips feature Southern Ohio (April 24th-25th) and Tennessee (May 21st-26th) which includes stops in Nashville, Memphis and Louisville.
